On the contrary, if it's used for specific purposes, like posting to one or another thing anonymously, then it's more ambiguous than switching regularly
I don't know what it's like here, but people take you seriously if you use a real account! Anons are known for being mean and leaving cruel comments on the internet where I'm from.
I never used the internet much, but... I don't know that I think hard about who the person is behind a username (except a lot of people do show their face on the network)
But it's nice to recognize a name... and if they're ever mean to you, you know to keep away from that person online.

I know there's one in Epiphany and apparently one in Never Fade too.

But I think an adventurer like you deserves a challenge ( • ̀ω•́ )✧

I take it if you're offering, you're a pretty talent games player, yeah? Will beat the snot out of me?

In reality, I've lost all the games I played! But this might just be my chance to beat the snot out of someone: You!!

Okay! If we ever talk on the network again or when I tell my friends about you, I'll call you Spark. 彡☆
[ Oh, geez...maybe she should change her username in case Monika's seen her...
Should she ask him if he knows her? ...no, no, she can't. ]

Though like I said, it's hardly anything too serious. More a force of habit and caution which might not even be necessary than anything.
I realized the other day you can even change your username, so I could and perhaps should just play around with that more

[ Which likely defeats the purpose of changing his username, but... ]

But I guess it would be a lot of effort... (ˇヘˇ)

I just mean a name! You don't have to act any differently, right?
